New Fashion Wardrobe Management firm offers unique services to women clients
Chicago, IL — February 28, 2007 — Personal Vogue, a Chicagoland firm created to offer high-quality, cost-effective, customized wardrobe management services to individual clients, announced that it has begun offering its service and launched its new brand and web site www.personalvogue.com.
Personal Vogue’s co-founders, Linda Jordan and Kathy Brosmith, believe that what you wear starts with who you are. They provide custom wardrobe consulting that is reflective of how their clients choose to work, live and express themselves. Many women buy clothes they never wear. The reasons are due primarily to shopping without a plan, not understanding their body types and what clothes work best on their silhouette, buying too much of the latest trends, and not understanding what a real “value” is and how to spot it. The Personal Vogue goal is to help a client build a great wardrobe with an eye towards quality rather than quantity.
“Personal style is what you want to portray to the rest of the world. It is developed by knowing who you are and what makes you comfortable,” said Linda Jordan, Personal Vogue co-founder. “The education process is a key service of all we do from beginning to end; it’s what differentiates us from other wardrobe consultants. We are about “What to Wear.” We don’t provide rules but we offer choices and options on rebuilding the current wardrobe with clothes and accessories that will give a timeless style."
The company has developed a unique and comprehensive process to help clients identify their personal goals and define and create their desired style. This process consists of a Style Assessment, Wardrobe Editing, Personal Shopping, a Unique Outfitting System, and defining Wardrobe Essentials.
“Personal Vogue’s services are based on helping our clients to save time and money while providing them with simple, efficient, yet elegant wardrobe management for all seasons,” said Kathy Brosmith, Personal Vogue’s co-founder. “Our fee structure is customized based on the services that are requested with the goal to create a life-changing alteration based on aspirations and budget. The value of our customized wardrobe management services is that we will help clients maximize their style and wardrobe efficiency with the resources they have within their current wardrobe inventory. We will also help rebuild wardrobes with a focused shopping plan that will eliminate directionless, impulse purchases and waste of financial resources. Once the wardrobe is healthy, maintenance is low, saving time and money.”
Recent customers expressed enthusiasm about the unique nature and range of Personal Vogue’s services. “As a practical and somewhat frugal woman, I thought that this was a tremendous investment of money and time. I could have bought one or two articles of clothing for the cost of the session, and still have no clue what to do with them. Instead, I now have a plan of attack for my entire wardrobe and I feel confident that I can dress in a way that projects my own unique style,” said Kay, an attorney and corporate executive. “I”ve never had such an enjoyable experience working with clothes. Kathy and Linda have no personal agenda, other than to make you look fabulous! I can’t wait to try out some of the ideas they gave me.”
